Our Mission
Lazos America Unida strengthens Mexican, Indigenous, and immigrant communities in New Jersey through culture, advocacy, and grassroots leadership.
We uplift heritage by showcasing artists, dancers, and storytellers. We bridge health and language gaps by training Community Health Workers and interpreters. And we defend workers’ rights by organizing for civic power and justice.

The Guelaguetza is a vibrant Oaxacan cultural festival held in Oaxaca City, Mexico, during the last two Mondays of July. It celebrates the diverse indigenous cultures of the state's eight regions through traditional music, dances, costumes, and food.

Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, dedicated to honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed away. Unlike somber mourning traditions, this celebration is joyful and colorful, filled with music, food, and vibrant decorations.
